The overlookcircle.org Feeder Cam

The camera is a Stardot Netcam with a maximum resolution of 640x480. Due to the cold winters here in Minnesota, it's housed in the heavy duty weatherproof enclosure. It has a Tele Varifocal lens which ranges in focal length from 5-50mm. This lens gives the camera a lot of flexiblity as to where it can be placed. I have it mounted with the heavy duty pole mount, although I wound up mounting it on a 4x4 post rather than a pole. My original intention was to install an outdoor wireless bridge so the camera could connect wirelessly to my home network, but for the time being I have the ethernet cable connected directly to my router inside. Here is a photo of the setup. To the left is the weather station, and toward the middle is the camera mounted on the post, pointed at the bird feeders. Back to the feeder cam live view.
